    it's not recommended to oil magazines for reasons already explained, however, a light oiling on the outside and good wipedown thereafter should be fine. Rather not oil the internals.

    I strip my mags every time I clean my gun. I spray them down inside and out with DWF (flashes off but leaves a dry lube film) or similar, scrub them out and then wipe down inside/outside mag body, follower, spring etc... I do this cause I live by the coast and everything rusts in Muizenberg ;D
