Care to share : Electric case Trimmer and Chamfer ideas.
Good morning. My reloading table(station) is almost finished. I sold what I'm not going to use and utilise what's left. I want to include a table mounted(or portable) DIY case trimmer and chamfer tool setup. From what I've heard and seen on the web, is that most guys use a cordless drill for this application. I was pondering the thought of other appliances that might also work seeing that I don't have a spare cordless drill/screwdriver lying around. One of the ideas I have is to shop for a cheap/secondhand electric handmixer, mount it on the side of my work table with straps etc. I can modify/weld/glue two chamfer tools to the wisk extensions. One will debur inside and one will obviously debur the outside of the cases. If I remember correctly the number 1 speed setting will be sufficient for my intended application. Would you guys mind sharing your ideas or opinions on mine please ? Thanx.
