Becker Necker BK11

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a Becker BK 11. I am not able to find it in South Africa. I have asked Sharp Edge if they can order it. First reply was that I need to pay half of the price as deposit which I do not have a problem with. The problem is that they cannot give me a price until they order the knife and wont place the order until I pay???

I need to see the price first before I order as I don't want to end up paying R1000 for a knife that should be around R500 - R600. I tried to order from US knife companies: Knife price $40 and Shipping $35.

Does anybody know of someone in SA who has stock of these knives?

Give Steve at Rosenthal's in CPT a call. I saw one there a couple of months ago - price was R650 IIRC. I really like the knife

I became the proud owner of one of these knives this morning. Thanks to Sweet for the info and to Pieter at A Rosenthal. Initial impression is that is a well made knife. Quite sharp out of the box. The sheath is very bulky. Will probably contact Uncle Geoff for something more slim line as I did with my TDI.
