Default drilling larger rear site on LM

What size have you drilled the rear sight out to on your LM?
What are the advantages of this? Would imagine quicker/easier to pick up the front post.
Did you sacrifice any accuracy? Am only looking to make shots out to 50 or 100 M anyway?
Can you still make head shots with this set up at 50 M?

    All advise welcome. . .

    "All advice welcome"???
Are you sure you're up for this??

    Go on a diet!
    Drink less beer!
Be nice to your lady at all times!!!!

    should go on?

3.5 - 4.0 mm, makes picking up the front sight a breeze and at the ranges you're talking about, there's no appreciable loss in combat accuracy.

my peep sight was 3mm ID and i had difficulty picking up the sights. so i drilled it out to 5mm ID and it made a huge positive difference for me.

the shooters eye sight is the proviso here ie my pal with keen eyes does not complain and shoots very well with original set up.

live out your imagination , not your history.
