Hi all, My first post on here, so here goes.

I saw a similar interesting thread earlier, about an EDC knife and torch, so I thought I'd expand slightly, Some of my EDC, depending where and what I am doing. This is in addition to a firearm. (Click for larger images)

Daily Carry:

Options when I go out:

Depending on what I am wearing or the days activities, I have the following options. I almost always carry the CRKT folder no matter which of these options I choose.

ResQme tool - In case I am involved in or witness an accident where a seatbelt may need to be cut or a window broken. Considering clipping it somehow in my car.

Honshu Karambit with leather sheath. Fits well in the waistband of my trousers. Quick to get to and is is fairly formidable. the ergonomics of the handle are adaptable to many training styles.

Black Karambit with underarm sheath. Nice when wearing a jacket or on colder days when thick clothing is warm. The arm strap also can get you a bit hot on a sunny day.

Delta Dart. While not a true knife, it has potential for inflicting nasty wounds and can kill an aggressor as it penetrates fairly easily. It's also sleek and the chain permits comfortable neck carry.


Bush carry when hiking around the game farm:

M48 Tomahawk - Light, sharp and seemingly very tough. I don't feel it much at all when walking. It does a great job of dismantling poachers snares and traps too.

Cold Steel long shaft assagai - Fairly long at just over 6 feet long, I have modified the bottom of the shaft for use as a walking stick. apart from obvious uses in protecting ones self, it is damn handy at cutting fruit off the higher branches around the farm house before going on a walk. Not too heavy, Very strong and very sharp.

One thing I did not include a photo of, is a paracord bracelet I wear in the bush. It's got a whistle in the buckle in case of emergency and my reasoning is the cord can be used as a makeshift tourniquet or to lash a splint on or whatever one may need a few meters of cordage for.

I'll consider doing a full review with decent pictures some time soon. These were quick snap shots on my floor.

Any suggestions please feel free. I'd also like to hear what you carry, apart from just the normal EDC knife.
