South African munufactured R1
Good day all, I am wondering how difficult it will be to buy a good condition South African manufactured R1 and what price range they will be in. My finaces should be sorted to buy at the end of the year. What to look for when viewing the rifle ect. Any advice will be most welcome. Thank you.

Re: South African munufactured R1
As far as pricing go you can get original ones from Classic Arms in Witbank for R9500. Refurbished ones go from R12000-R18000 at dealers.

As long as you are a collector or a dedicated sports shooter, you should be good to go. The R1 would be select fire only though (semi-auto).

Re: South African munufactured R1
If the AK47 was the symbolic weapon of the Eastern bloc, the FAL was the symbol for the West...
