    Default South African munufactured R1

Good day all, I am wondering how difficult it will be to buy a good condition South African manufactured R1 and what price range they will be in. My finaces should be sorted to buy at the end of the year. What to look for when viewing the rifle ect. Any advice will be most welcome. Thank you.

As far as pricing go you can get original ones from Classic Arms in Witbank for R9500. Refurbished ones go from R12000-R18000 at dealers.

As long as you are a collector or a dedicated sports shooter, you should be good to go. The R1 would be select fire only though (semi-auto).

The only problem with them is that they have expensive taste when it comes to feeding time, but i still love my "right arm of the free world".

+1. Feeding time is the best time though. I will need to start reloading for her sometime.
