Question Springbok Hunting Near Cape Town???

I’m looking for places to hunt springbok, ostrich etc. in the Western Cape (preferably close to Cape Town) for x2 hunters. My plan is to go around the 2nd half of September.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well there's Cape Hunting Safari. They say in their ad that's it's 90 min from Cape Town.
As soon as my license comes through we're heading up to Steenbokkie.

I see what you mean - R2000 for a springbuck +++++ for vehicle etc. Rather go a bit further and get reasonable rates.

I mentioned it because it's the closest to Cape Town, one of his requests.
Also why I said I'm going to Steenbokkie.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Those prices are HECTIC...I guess that we are all willing to pay for convenience (provided that it is within reason). Also got a quote from Cape Town Hunting, they want R3000 for day fee, R1500 for springbok.

People are obviously willing to pay these prices because these guys are still in business or maybe they cater more for the international market. Either way as much as I'd love to hunt closer to home I can't see myself paying those prices.

@ LocknLoad, looks like Steenbokkie might be a more practical option.
