    Default Weak hand shooting

Other than 'man the fuck up', does anyone have advice on how to increase control and accuracy when shooting with your weak hand? And no wire pulling references either please. ;)

Get a tight grip before discharging....and don't try to anticipate recoil.
    sleep when you're dead

I bought a couple of CoC grip trainers. It has improved my weak hand shooting significantly. At every practice shoot I allocate time for strong/weak hand shooting

I started with "getting used " to the weak hand by doing simple tasks you usually do with your strong hand, this way you develop that part in your brain and the muscle and nerves which usually less utilized ,i took a 3 kg weight with the same weak hand and simulate dry shooting ,after doing so for few weeks may I suggest you utilise the services of one of the instructors on this forum to coordinate your body, eye, sight and posture to accommodate your new skill

the only way is to practice weak hand shooting

make a point of shooting a fixed percentage of rounds with your weak hand, on every trip to the range - remember to compensate for eye dominance

when it's as good as you need, you can scale down

it's possible to end up shooting just as well right or left, even if you are right-handed only, for example

If I might ask, where did you get the CoC's from?
They look awesome, but I couldn't find any. So I settled for a generic set from Sportsmans, but they're shite.

What works for me is I tilt the gun about 25degrees and with my strong hand fist push on my chest.

With the tilt the recoil goes into my center which is my stronger point then upwards in weak hand.

Works wonders for me. Worth a try

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually forgot about the grip trainers, BigT demonstated one and I forgot where he got it from?

I tried a bit of both today, get a nice group with strong hand only, but weak hand only is all over the place. I don't feel in control of the FA recoil, even when I white knuckle it.

On a lighter note, have you ever tried brushing your teeth with your weak hand? Don't know if it is just me, but I cannot do it.

I started off shooting "southpaw" the way I started shooting - one shot at a time, and correcting myself as often as possible. I remember that the gun felt different in my left hand at first, especially the kickback.
