City Guns website problems?

Good morning.

Since Friday I have been receiving a red screen and this message:

"You attempted to reach www.cityguns.co.za, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as*.edge-1.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of www.cityguns.co.za. You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site."

It then asks if I want to proceed and of course I say NO.

Someone else experiencing the same problem?

Nope - works fine for me.

Try running the following from CMD prompt: ipconfig /flushdns

Not sure if I should be messing the the ipconfig stuff... what will flashdns do?

A DNS server is like the googlemaps of websites. It tells your PC where to go look for the website. By executing the flush command you just delete all the entries telling your computer which DNS server to use, so that your PC will look for the default DNS server.

In short, if somebody managed to tell your PC to ask a DNS server they control or tampered with for web addresses, then this will ensure you bypass their meddling.
