SLR Licence approvals??

With all the "issues" and allegations regarding bribery and top officials at the CFR being suspended etc etc , do we know if SLR license approvals are still being granted or has everything come to a grinding halt?

mine was received on 07-02 and finally moved to consideration yesterday

Yeah mine was declined after 4 weeks. Somehow already having a HMC BXP and semi auto Atis shotgun (both restricted weapons) don’t count if you want an LM5. Haven’t even received the decline letter yet and it was turned down on the 26^th of June. Already resubmitted the application on the 22^nd of July with a much shorter and concise motivation with my club membership card and the endorsement.

My LM5 is classified as a rifle, semi auto action, however there are guys who have LMs that are classified as HMCs. Would this even make a difference on the application criteria? What’s the difference between a HMC and semi-auto rifle in the eyes of the CFR?

maybe we need a new thread, but we need to petition someone with the power and know-how to sort out this HMC/ SLR debacle
