They are extremely well made folders - textured Ti and G10 scales - Niolox blade on the Mike and D2 on the Foxtrot - they have a distinct custom feel and finish to them.

I have knives by Strider, Chris Reeve, Hinderer and I must say these Pohl Force knives do not have to stand back an inch to those knives and far exceed the quality and finish of any of the factory knives.

The etchings on the blade are the best I have ever seen on any knife.

These are fantastic knives. Here are a few pictures that I took of these at IWA.

The lockup is perfect and the blade centring is spot on.

Just a note on models - we only imported the Outdoor models with the satin finish blades.

We have 10 x Mike 1 and 3 x Foxtrot 1 (the big mother).

These are introductory prices - if you compare with the Eu and USA prices and convert to Rand you will see these are good deals for some awesome knives.

Both models feature the Roto Block = is a device that stops over extension of the frame lock when unlocking from an open blade and also provides a frame lock-bar lock out for heavy duty use - this virtually turns your folder into a fixed blade iro blade lock out in the open position.

The Mike 1 affords 5 prefect grip positions:

1. standard hammer grip or grip with thumb on the thumb ramp
2. standard grip with thumb on forward ramp/disc for increased leverage and power
3. choke grip with index finger in choil and thumb on forward ramp
4. reverse grip
5. draw point, edge in, p'kal

There are few knives that offer all these grip positions and fewer that offer all of these grip positions comfortably and even fewer (a hand full) that offer a draw point/p'kal proper grip combined with all the grip positions.
