Re: FN FAL is a winner :)
Last weekend I went out to the range and decided to see what level of accuracy I could achieve with my Fn Fal from a bench rest. Although the front pillar sight blocks out the majority of the A4 sized paper target at 100m I was still very impressed with the results I obtained. I'm not a very good shot but to me this level of accuracy from a open sighted battle rifle with standard military surplus ammunition is quite impressive. I used Norinco ammunition.

Re: FN FAL is a winner :)
You know there are different height and width front sights? Height indicated by the dots (1 - 4, 4 being the tallest). If you want a skinny you can replace with the same height for same MPI. PM me in need.
BTW - any decent FAL should be capable of 1.5" @ 100m with iron sights. That should be your aim.
