I have been to Cango a couple of times and these guys to great work. The animals are really well kept. It was started for the purpose of Cheetah breeding IIRC.

Re: Help for Venus, the going-blind cheetah
Okay guys, an update.
The guys have so far received close to R10,000 toward the surgery. The surgery is to take place on the 18th of September, and I got my buddy to promise that he'll cover everything - from the transport to the surgery to the recovery with documentary footage.
By the rate of things they'll reach their target, and if they exceed the needed money the rest will be ploughed back into the Cheetah Preservation Program. They're not making a profit and they don't intend to start now.
So, I guess an insane thanks is already in order. Really people, thank you so, so much!
