    Default EDC Storage while Camping

This year will be the first year i go on leave with my EDC. If a person where to be staying in a caravan while on leave, what would be the best storage solution when not able to carry on your person. I know it should be on you at all times, but what about when you go for a shower or watersports etc when you cant have it holstered on your person.
I was thinking about one of those vehicle safes under the seat of my car/suv. Not sure if a normal handgun safe will be able to be mounted properly in a caravan unless i weld it to the chassis perhaps? What are the thoughts of the forum members on this?
    thanks

PS If this has been discussed apologies and please point me to the thread.tx

Not many fans of vehicle safes on this site. When I am away and cant carry in a normal position, for instance when swimming in the ocean, I use a travel money wallet. My G26 fits into it snugly with the standard mag and it just straps around my waist.

I would rather do it that way than leave it in anything movable.

Do you swim with the travel money wallet?

I have done a fair bit of gadding around the country and have found a safe inside the car to be hugely useful.

I'm seriously considering the same. Did you have it mounted permanently to the vehicle?

Yes, If im going to swim I put the G26 in a zip lock bag first. Its not as bulky as a normal fanny pack and sits pretty comfortably. I dont carry like this with one in the chamber though, the material is pretty soft and I would not be happy with one in the pipe on a FA with no external safety with this set up.

Very interesting. At least you are never leaving it alone, anywhere.
