The VersaMax is taking the IPSC game by storm it seems...probably more due to US parts and accessories availability now and in the future than any real advantages over the Benellis or even the Berettas. It ain't cheap, but get the 3in Tactical rather than the 3 1/2in gun...you don't need the 3 1/2in stuff and the Tactical brings lots to the party.
Take a look on Brian Enos' Forums (I start with the Shotgun Technical Forums but spend some time on the whole site) and see what the guys are doing and what you can be happy with as a starter in the game. (If you are a starter in the game, that is)
