Default Voere .375 H&H weight and overall quality.

    Morning guys

In the process of buying a new hunting rifle and I would like to have your input on this please. Been shopping around for quite a while now and feeling different rifles, and the one that got my attention the most was the voere 2013 either in luxus or std.

So what do you guys think about this, a bit concerned about the rifle being very light(will be a pleasure in the bush)....not worried about recoil but the main concern is if accuracy will be affected. Also the bolt is made of aluminum, not sure if it is just the casing or the whole thing, is this good for the long run...?

Will be using the rifle for walking and stalking for about 5 to 6 hunts a season.

Not sure about the 375 , but I have the 7x57 Voere. No problems, nice rifle
My next rifle will be the 375, and I will be looking at the Voere

    I too have a Voere in 6.5x55.
As you mention before the only downside of the rifle is that it is light, but if recoili s not an issue then buy it. The quality of the rifle is superb.

The following is the whole and complete truth:

My uncle has a Voere .308 which he used on the farm. Lovely rifle - very accurate. He comes back from the fields, put it against the truck because he needs to check on something, the his wife calls and he forgets the rifle. He returns, starts the truck and drives over the rifle with the double rear wheels of the truck...

He is really good with his hands, so he takes the rifle, takes off what needs to be taken off and bends it back with some tools (don't know which) until it is straight again. Today, some twenty odd years later, the rifle is still shooting better than most of us can aim.

Thanks guys, thats great news!! As long as the accuracy are not affected by the recoil. Ds J thats one hell of a story, would love to see the rifle though.

Anyone have some more info on that aluminum bolt?

About 30 years ago I has a very light Voere in 7mm Rem Mag. It moered me silly and broke the scope after 6 shots so I got rid of it before I developed the inevitable flinch.

Fellow I knew came to my farm one day to shoot his new 458. Look how light it is he was saying. The first shot rattled him so badly his nose began to bleed, I declined to have a shot. That was all the shooting for the day. I will never buy a light rifle.
