And that is bad because?

I found that some breeders (not all but it's increasing) are selecting animals ,male and female, purely on size of horns, instead of the complete package. With game bigger horns doesn't always mean best genes. I'm worried that continual focus on horns may lead to weakening the species genetics. I realise it is not an immediate threat but it is something that should be managed carefully... all this IMHO...
