Custom Knifemaker for a little project

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone can point me to a Knifemaker/person who will be able and willing to make a copy of the Shivworks Disciple locally here in sunny ol' SA. With the weak currency, I am worried that it might end up costing a lot more if ordering from the States as well as getting lost or held back at customs here.

Nothing like stealing someone's intellectual property.

Especially, when that person is on this forum.

SouthNarc has invested a lot of blood (literally), sweat and tears in the design of that blade, do him the courtesy of not stealing it.

He will be out in Cape Town in November, if I recall, I am sure you can discuss him bringing in a couple of his production knives out with him.

Try Harm, he is on the forum, but be prepared to waite for a custom blade. I'm sure he won't use someone elses design, but may make something else you like.

Harm did a GS folder project for us some time back. His work is brilliant.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that I would tread on some toes. I didn't mean to rip off anyone's work. If it is seen that I am doing that, mods can please close down the thread.

And I thought Harm will do another project here and was already very happy.

So I have a favour to ask for anyone going to SouthNarc's course in November in Cape Town. Just to update, I did ask SouthNarc if he can bring a Disciple to SA when he comes here and said he will if I can get it made in time by his partner, Ban Tang. So I organised with Mr Ban, he will make me an officially licensed Disciple, and SouthNarc will bring it. I want to ask anyone from Joburg who is going to the course in CT if they can bring the Disciple back with them so I can get it from him?

Please guys, help a man out here.
