    Question Gate motors

Can anyone please recommend a sliding gate motor for a 4meter wide and 2.4 meter height Palisade Gate?

Good choice:Centurion D5 EVO will handle a gate up to 500kg.

Yip, D5. Busy pricing a new gate as well before silly season shopping is in full swing. Seems the D5 evo pricing varies from 4.5k to 6k depending on installer

I've installed a D5 Evo and I would defiantly recommend it. Best price I could find was from Regal Security. Cant remember exactly but was about R3000 a year ago for motor and remotes, no rails.

If you get a D5, make sure the installer disables the damn Holiday mode function. It is a PITA!!!

I have a DACE D500. Seems to do the job, but when there's a power failure, you can open the gate once then the battery is dead.

    I'll stick to centurion.
