Default Armed Robber Shot Dead, Tongaat, KwaZulu Natal

Armed Robber Shot Dead, Tongaat, KwaZulu Natal:

An armed robbery suspect was shot dead a short while ago in Tongaat. Five armed suspects attempted to force their way into a home when they were spotted by the homeowner. The homeowner attempted to force the door closed however the suspects opened fire on him. The homeowner returned fire and shot one of the suspects in the chest killing him instantly. The other four suspects fled the scene.

The panicked homeowner contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa control centre stating that the balance of the suspects were probably still on his property. Several Reaction Officers were dispatched to the home and upon arrival secured the property. Reaction Officers found the dead suspect lying at the back of the property. A crow bar which was used to force open the security gate was found next to the suspect.

It does not say anything about the robber that was killed had a weapon on him, however i guess the crow bar shows intent. I know the article says 5 armed suspects, but what if the other guys picked up the other weapon and then ran off.

I still think there is enough intent and im sure by the other bullet casings found on scene the homeowner should not have too much of an issue with the law.

    Your kidding right?

    1. They were forcing them selfs in! Forcing!
    2. Shots fired at home owner. He RETURNS fire.
    3. Crow bar is a weapon! As per dangerous weapons act.
    4. He tried to keep a barrier between him and them.
    5. Used his firearm as a last resort.
    6. He knows how violent the crime in that area is and knew he was going to die.
    7. Law says if you murder someone your going to jail! He stopped them from murdering him!

Well done to the man for protecting himself!
Well done to the BAD GUY for getting what was coming. To bad he is making the trip to the other side with out his fellow scumbags!

A gun is not the only thing you can be killed with. However in this instance he was returning fire.
