Hog eradication
Steytlerviile (Karroo) area, have been monitoring (and trying to shoot) one huge boar, but last week my trail cam picked up a sow and 2 piglets. We do not need these things! Any ideas for early eradication?

Re: Hog eradication
Good luck in eradication.
We have hunted them from helos, on the ground and from boats for 5 years in my part of the county. We kill every one we see but the game warden's game census shows that we have just been keeping them in check.
My advice is hunt them, relentlessly.
We give the meat to a charity group that makes jalapeno sausage out of it.

Re: Hog eradication
Been to the Transkei a while ago and the feral pigs are all over. I figure the Ferals survived the pigpest round 2010, when all the other pigs died.

Re: Hog eradication
I can give you a number for a guy who lives between Steytlerville and Willowmore.
He does professional jacket and caracal calling, but does shoot a lot of bushpig and feral pig.
Maybe he can helpA roaring Lion kills no game
