Would a Remington Nylon 66 .22lr Semi \Auto work for Sas?

i think they're more 13rounds, to be safe. you dont really want to over-compress an internal tube mag.
even though they're pretty damn accurate and efficient, unless you make the hits count.... it's a bitch of s a schlepp reloading the tube, especially in the bush.

but yes, it CAN be done.

Interesting question because IIRC there's no mention of tube fed semi auto's in the literature I have read, but bolt guns are allowed.

In my experience Sas will encourage participation rather than excluding you.

Pretty much anything will work for Sas. We've had plenty of guys doing the Level 1 with bolt, lever, slide action .22's as well as many semi auto's.

@ Apie: Yes it will work. I have seen shots taken from 200 and even 300m with a .22lr! But these are the exception!

The reloading is kinda "messy" but rather than sit & wait for the perfect rifle, bring what have & learn how to use it.
Recent studies show that 1 out of every 3 liberals are just as dumb as the other 2

+1. If you have it and it makes holes in the plate you should come to sas and use it.
Sas is a bring and use what you have now!

Apie, as the lads have mentioned, I am one who has done a L1 with my 102 year old Winchester .22 slide action which also has an under barrel tube mag. It is great to learn how to manage your self and to practice with what you have.
