i think NEA's are more readily available, compared to others.
but for the minor price difference, why not just get a daniel defense?

I love my NEA. And the guys give great support and warranties.
Imo the only reason the NEA's aren't seen or spoken of as "top tier" ar's is because it's not an american product or really available or known in usa.

I think this topic has been discussed before.
    Use the search function.

    Both are nice rifles.

It's going to come down to personal preference and "looks". Both imported and supported by HBA, so aftermarket support is excellent. Parts/accessories are also available from brownells. The Mid-length gas system WAS a plus for the bushmaster ito of perceived recoil, but the NEA has that aswell now on the 14'5" and upwards.

I have a bushmaster - I prefer the "traditional" look.

After the boys at NEA and HBA have offered endless support i would not hesitate in recomending the NEA. In the recent 3 gun nationals 4 of the top 5 finishers were using NEA's. Don't think there was a DD in sight!!!
