Typical spares for Glock 22 gen 4

I have now acquired all the extras (mepro light sights, spare mags etc. ) that i wanted. What would be recommended spares to keep and what is the typical lifetime of the spare most likely to need replacement first?

I'm not looking at changing anything yet such as connectors etc but if there is something that is good to change over the standard factory spec ito reliability please also advise. Your input and experience would be appreciated.

For an SD gun, only sights and connector. Glocks were designed to be reliable and nothing you do will improve it, most likely just harm it.

Spend your money on ammo.

Thanks, i currently reload and shoot regularly. I shoot for fun and average around 400-500 rnds a month.

How ever many mags you have, it isn't enough.

Thanks Big T. Will keep that in mind. From the info on the forum I plan to buy at least 2 new mags for SD every year. I currently have 10-off 15 round mags (2-off these kept aside for SD only), is there any practical use for the 22 rd mags?

I would keep springs on hand. Recoils trigger and slide lock especially. Change out the recoil spring every 5000 rounds and the others every 5-10 000.

Other spares worth keeping on hand are an extractor and a firing pin. Though those will take a while before requiring replacement. I would get a firing pin safety along with those.
