Spyderco from Aliexpress (China)

Are the knives all fake or not, see some of them are manufactured in China for Spyderco.

Chances are its fake. They get sold on ebay as replicas sometimes, but technically illegal to import, and workmanship on the mechanisms won't be up to scratch, along with sub-standard steel. The pic might be of an authentic one though.

The spyderco tenacious, persistance etc. are all built in China by spyderco. Though some idiots may sell knockoffs aswell, I suggest buy from a reputable dealer.

If its an 8cr13mov model the price sounds right.

How reliable is aliexpress and alibaba to start with?

I bought several stuff for my wife and kids without any problems, just make sure the rating on the dealer you buy from is at least three stars or higher. When you buy stuff aliexpress keep the money with them and only once you receive the goods and and mark the icon that you are happy with the goods they pay the money over to the dealer.
