Duelling tree challenge Saturday 08h00 Irene

Come join us for some semi-competitive shooting fun at Irene shooting range on Sat 4 Jan 08h00. We are going to use LoopSoosStroop’s duelling tree and set up a little impromptu match to see who has the best balance between speed and accuracy. Two shooters line up next to each other and at a signal draw their weapons and shoot at the three metal discs on their respective sides of the duelling tree. When one shooter hits a target, it flips 180 degrees to become the other shooter’s target. The purpose of the exercise is to win the “duel” by flipping all 6 metal discs over to your competitor’s side. Equipment: Centrefire handgun with minimum 38 Special power level to reliably flip over the discs, holster, ear protection and eye protection, enough ammo ( I am bringing 250 rounds). We limit the round count to max 18 rounds per duel.
Range fees: +/- R70

Sounds like fun will have to bring Ruger Service 6 but barrel is a littet short but its for fun and I want to get involved. So maybe a good learning stage, what is thevrange fee entry fee?

No reason why we cannot encourage/educate/enforce range safety (especially on the handgun range where we will be) while we are there?

Is your barrel 4"? Managed quite a few hits with a .38 snubby last time, your rollie might just work well!
