Free State cop kills wife, self

A policeman shot dead his wife and wounded their two children before turning his gun on himself in Bloemspruit on Wednesday, Free State police have said.

its a great worry that this happens to so many police officers. many have been so successful in the fight against crime ,and then they end their careers in this way. sad

The fact that so many cops end up doing this, is a massive failure on the states part.

Hectic amounts of stress, crappy pay, zero support network, and we still wonder why these guys crack and break the way they do.

Exactly what I am saying, what support structure is put in place to help them....

Not saying the cops themselves are bad, if that is how you interpreted it.
