These dreams are pretty common, if you do a search via google you will find a lot of people on Forums have said as much.
I myself have had them and same with my missus, so don't feel alone here

There is a specific word for the dreams( don remember it), I myself experience a similar dream. Draw my firearm and it is almost impossible to squeeze the trigger, very shitty dreams but normally ends up with a range session to confirm my trigger is fine.

The ones I have are where the trigger feels like those cheap BB-gun triggers, and when I pull it it breaks clean off.

That, or the rounds in the gun simply won't fire. Pull the trigger, and click each time.

Also, I've had many of them where the trigger has to be pulled very far back to release the hammer, and then the trigger hits the grip before the gun will fire, so there's no space anymore and the gun isn't firing.

I think everyone has them. They say dreams are often biggest fears or biggest wishes. My gun not working when I need it to is by far one of my biggest fears.

With a Glock, if you don't hold it correctly it will misfire, along with a lot of plastic pistols.

I've truly never seen or heard of an incorrect grip causing a misfire. Anyway, how is it relevant to the OP?

I started a fresh thread to raise awareness of the problem.
