May/can I own 2 x .22 rifles

I am a dedicated hunter and have 220.270 308 458 12g. My .22 broke and I could not find what I wanted (Bruno or Mauser ) to replace it. Eventually I found a rather rare Remington that I liked and bought it. Now a original, absolutely so Bruno came up and only I know of it. It is original from but plate to front sights. Zbrojvka Serial# 25371 - no English writing on it. What I want to know is how can I have both. One as a hobby shooting and one for hunting - start collecting .22 rifles or what. I really want it.

Yes, motivate one for rodents with shot cartridges which will damage the thread of a barrel, and another for regular .22 work.

Treeman, I have the same problem, only with 30-06's!

I reckon you need to show a decent difference in purpose of the rifles. Like the good dominee said, you can motivate use of shot shell.

Ok so I would say that the one would also be used for shot shell and perhaps as I am registered with trade world as a large animal pest controller it would work. The other would then be what - my personal hunting rifle or sport shooting rifle - prhaps register it as a target compo rifle - since the Bruno is capable. How many 30 06 have you got ?.

Now you just starting trouble. After the .458 it was the last rifle - that was 3 ago --------- licence to collect !. $$$$$$$$$

Treeman, what exercises does your hunting association offer for .22? Motivate one for association shoots, one for hunting.

My father's 30-06 is in my safe on a storage permit. Since my father lives in Mosselbay and I'm in Pretoria, when we meet up in Philippolis to hunt he has to use one of my rifles. So I figured put it on my name and I can transport it to wherever we hunt.
