    Default Personal protection formvisitirs

I will be spending two weeks riding a motorcycle across the country starting at jberg east to the coast, south along the coast to capetown. I have read multiple stories about security threats. I am a 30 yr hunter and conceal carry in my state (phoenix, az)...... The question should i be concerned about personal security while on this trip and if so, is there any way to legally carry while i am on this trip?

As long as you overnight in Guesthouses or Hotels you will be fine. Dont pitch a tent or sleep alongside the road. Should you want to use a tent, look for caravan parks that have a controled entrance with 24h security.

Other than that, look out for potholes and taxi minibusses.

You should be good to go, as long as you stay out of areas that makes you feel uncomfortable pr where you are man alone and there are squatter camps nearby.

Don't go through townships and try and stay on the main roads.

I know that IDPA members have been able to procure invitations to a local match. This would let you bring in a pistol and ammo on a temporary permit, which should be applied for in advance.

Of course you would be required to keep it on you at all times.
