Go see and speak to Jonothan. He will give you excellent advise. You can see the presses and make sure you get the right one. The 550 is am excellent choice

Re: Dillon RL 550B
The Lee was a total of R6k incl everything I think, or is that too cheap?
As for the 550 thats kind of why I am looking at it, never read anything bad and quite a few people use them so figure it must be ok? Just looking at pricing etc between the different stores.

I also use one. No problems whatsoever. When I'm in the groove I load 100 bullets in 11 minutes.

Could be the lee loadmaster for 6k. I would also recommend the Dillon though.

Re: Dillon RL 550B
Is that a progressive one? The R6k will most likely include the scale and that stuff too. The Dillion 550 (Just machine) is between R6.9k and R7.5k depending where, then I need to add dies, a scale, a measuring thing (I dont know what some of the stuff is called), a tumbler, the book, a hammer for when you make an error etc.
I am not including the actual stuff to make the rounds as that will be the same no matter the machine.

Re: Dillon RL 550B
The Dillon RL550b will work out at about R10 000 - R12 000 depending on what you need.

Re: Dillon RL 550B
Pro1000 is a progressive. A bit on the cheap side, but not a bad machine to start reloading with. Retails for about 3k and that includes your dies. All you'd need is a scale and you are good to go. Vernier, tumbler and kinetic puller are nice to haves but you can get by without them
