Glock +2 shoes acceptable in SADPA comps?
Hi all,
Just wondering if there's any rule against using extended mags or +2 shoes in SADPA comps?
Thanks.

As long as it fits in the box it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep in mind that you will only be loading your mags with 10 rounds each ;)

Rules for SSP and ESP divisions:
Fit in the IDPA gun test box measuring 8 ¾” x 6” x 1 5/8” with an empty magazine inserted.
Be loaded to the division capacity of ten (10) rounds in the magazine plus one (1) round in the chamber.
You should have no problem using extended mags in a compact, but probably won't fit in the box with a full size frame.
As Geoff said - limit is 10 - so there's no reason to use them ;D

You also need to ensure that the shoes are not weighted.

Re: Glock +2 shoes acceptable in SADPA comps?
One of the priciples of IDPA is "II. Provide a level playing field for all competitors to test the skill and ability of each individual, not equipment or gamesmanship."
This way someone with a 9mm Colt single stack can compete on a level playing field against someone with a high-cap Glock.
In IPSC standard gun, shooters with 40s have a HUGE advantage over those with 45s, as they have to do fewer reloads. In a big match this can be as much as a 20 sec advantage. That is what IDPA is trying to avoid.
BTW: You really wouldn't want to go head to head with the 9mm single stack shooter ;D
