Tipton gun butler
Evening gunsiters,
Anyone have any experience with the above product? What do you guys use when cleaning your rifles i.e. what vice do you use to keep your rifles secure?
Thanks
Darren

Re: Tipton gun butler
I have a gun butler and it works well for me. All the bits clip into the base of the butler when not in use for secure storage.

Re: Tipton gun butler
Thanks bush pig, been thinking about getting one and I wanted to know what the other guys used!
Iv been using my bench rest bag for years and I thought it was a nice idea to get one!
Does your gun butler's forks scratch your rifle at all? It says on the description that it's non marring!

Its inexpensive. It works. It doesn't damage the qood on my rifles. Get one. Sommer get a Tipman Bore Guide while you're at it, if you dont have a bore guide.

Re: Tipton gun butler
@Pirate I paid R350 for mine at S&O so not so expensive as the ones here by us are over R500.
@dsmerrills the forks have a rubber protective layer so the rifle sits tight and doesn't move at all, I'm very fussy with my rifle and very happy with the butler.

Re: Tipton gun butler
I LOVE mine. One of the best gun-related purchases I've ever made.
The only issue I have is that "Why didn't I buy something like this years ago" question. How did I manage without one? Jupiter only knows.
