i think as a concept it would work well.....save all your issues for 1 day a year and sort them out

Yeah, interesting concept. All crime is legal for a night. Seems to me that all those with law abiding mindset will bunker down and only those with criminal mindsets will be out on the streets. To me that presents a great opportunity. Set up a good sniper position and shoot anything that moves. Great way to remove those with criminal tendencies from society. Sounds good.

What was interesting was how "law abiding" citizens settle petty differences then too (jealous neighbours,for example).and thrill-seekers killing for the hell of it seems that the purge brings out the worst in most people.
That's how I saw it anyway (some time back).
