Default US 120487: Use of firearms in a military and law enforcement environment.

Has anybody done this unit standard? A training provider told me he could give it to me and most of it would be based on recognition of prior learning (RPL).

If anybody can explain the contents and worth of this training I would appreciate it. SAQA website doesn't help much, and the training providers explanation was feeble.

    Cheers,
    drew

Now the big question is where does this leave me?
The institution where I did my competency did RPL me though. But for normal purposes not for business.
Will be interesting to get your comments.

So they gave you the qualification purely based on RPL? You didn't have to write a test or do a shoot?

Rpl os just a shorter test to prove you know what you say you know. You still have to do the practical

The cost is alot less cause the classroom time is cut to the minimum. some theory and normal qualification shoot has to be done.
