I did a search and it seems that no one has brought up the latest offering from H&K yet? This seems strange since the news broke in November 2013 already.

The rumours say that it will be available in C,K,L, and S models, much like its military ancestor. Currently the H&K website only shows the S model (link above).

More importantly, who are the H&K agents in SA and are they likely to bring a few in?

There is a if my memory serves me right an HK sl8 which is a sporterised HK g36 which can be dressed up to look like a g36 just thought I'd share

I guess since they can't foist them off on military contracts any more, they're going to try and market a civilian version, but given the fact that guns like the Tavor, the FN SCAR, their own MR556, and any high quality AR15, are all better weapons, I think their plan is doomed...
