Tactical Marksman Level One 29th March

I will be running a Tactical Marksman course on Saturday 29th March at Rooikraal shooting range

Cost is R750 per person. Range fee is R80. You will need between 150-200 rounds.

Ammo can be bought on the day at the range. I would suggest arranging this beforehand though.

The course will run from 09:00 to at least 17:00

Forgive my ingnorance, is this for pistols or rifles only? any calibre? and how many spare mags do you recommend?

other than eye/ear protection, what other gear would we need?

Tactical Tim - This is a handgun course. There were only pistols when I did it the first time with my 9mmK. I'm doing it again with my SIG. I suppose there is no reason that you cannot do it with a six shot rollie if I did it with my 7 shot mousegun, but I will tell you I was in the gun shops the very next week looking for a proper SD pistol which I now have.

Eye and ear pro, probably best to have at least 3 mags total, perhaps more so you can reload a whole bunch at a time and then we were told you need to have a suitable holster such that you can re-holster with one hand.

Take food, drink, sunscreen, cap and more drink !! It was stinking hot last time and the slave driver doesn't give many breaks

Any reasonable handgun. At least two mags. More is always gooder.

Ammo. Eyes and ears. A safe holster and a mag pouch. A sense of humour assist greatly as well.
Food and drink can be bought at the range.
