    Default Taking over firearms from deceased estate

    Hi guys

    Just want some info or links to other threads where I can get the process to follo w to take ownership of firearms from a deceased estate

    p.s. Thanks JS4 for helping me over the phone, just need a reference to refer to when I forget

    Turns out the estate has been wound up but the firearms were not listed, so where to from here?

    i don't think the family would want to do that, they are on the verge of handing in to saps

    Lawyer buddy of mines can do it

    Now I need info on 2nd sd and 1 sports

    Guns are a 38 sp and Astra 9mm

    reopen estate, add firearms in and close it again

    As long as he doesn't convince the erstwhile executor to sign forms without reopening.

    So whats the process to apply for a 2nd sd gun
    Do i need a 2nd competency or is my current one valid?
