been to a few places this weekend but nobody seems to stocks Kabar.

Funny story about the TDI, a couple of years ago when they launched it I saw the potential in this knife, and decided to order 100 of them, Ka Bar was not interested in dealing with me and referred me to the agents, who at that stage did not even know about this knife, and where not very interested, but they eventually agreed to import! the 100 blades for me, at a profit mind you, they still landed very reasonably priced, but I battled to even sell them at R250, go figure, last time I checked Sharp Edge had some and so did Blades and triggers, and price was in the region of R500, I am still tempted to maybe bring in some again, but not so sure if it is a good idea.

Sharp edge do have ,but limited amounts,they only got stock in about 2 weeks ago,far as I know there is no more official agent for KA-Bar in SA at the moment,so its a matter of local knife stockest getting when they can at the moment ,which is all back to the export permit issues again.So bottom line if you see stock and are interested in the TDI best to get it while you can,unless you want to import yourself which is a mission at the moment.There is no short supply of them in the states.All round it is a great blade imho.
