    Default Beretta 90 two

Hey folks, purchased a Beretta 90 two in .40 to replace my G23. Any differences in personal handling regarding these? I know the Z88 and 92 very well, but how many people have these? Are they common in SA?

One of the LEO chaps on the forum did a bit of comparison between the Z88 and the Beretta, both seemed to perform well, but dor then life of me I can't remember who it was.

Love mine to bits, looked around for months there weren't any in the country

In my opinion they either fit your hand or they don't. If they do they are one of the best "feeling" handguns I've felt, if they don't they feel like a brick.

Do you mean the 96 though? Unless there has been some funny business with swapping barrels and mags or something?

Ok at least I know now I'm not going nuts. So they're new in SA. Also have to say the look with the picatinny rail cover is pretty badass.

Obviously the thing that struck me the most was the weight being a lot less than the normal 92F, even though its essentially the same pistol. Do the normal 96 mags work ok in them? How well does the "auto close" change to the disassembly latch work? Are the SAP buying these or sticking with the 92F or PX4?

Two completely different models yes. Beretta's marketing department earned their Xmas bonus on originality alone.
