    It is a shortened version of a quad rail we supply, you will see that there is a rail welded to the dust cover so the red dot will co-witness, the normal full quad rail extends over the dust cover to mount scope, red dot etc.

    would it be possible to chop that rail down to fit a 6?

    I have the same rail on my 6 and 4, it will fit straight out the box, unless you have a rail on the dust cover, then it could be cut down and the exposed silver edge just painted black again, came out very neat on mine, let me know if you want to have a look at them and we'll make a plan to meet up.

    Im keen on getting together, the problem however is that my 6 is even shorter than a standard 6, it was a one off from vector.
