    I've been trying to get SADPA interested in a belt-fed division for years... ultimate goal is crew-served weapons of course.

    It'd also be a totally self limiting sport only for the elite. With that setup there, you're burning around 2400 rounds a minute. Assuming you're firing 7.62x51 factory cartridges you're running somewhere around R18000 per minute of firing. If its 8mm Mauser you can probably double that.
