Default The 9mm Automatic: A Better 9mm Cartridge

    http://www.shootingtimes.com/2014/03...9mm-cartridge/

pretty damn interesting article. i havent read the entire thing yet, but i wonder:
    1) will 9mmA work in normal 9mmP firearms?
    2) is there really a need for 9mmA over 9mmP ?

This was already posted. It's an ingenious solution to a non-existent problem.

exactly, havent had any such problems myself.
and new mags or mag-springs usually resolve any such issues.

This reminds me of a story a mate of mine heard years ago in a gunshop up north. Guy was going to make millions. He'd come up with the greatest wildcat ever.

He necked a 270 case up to ... 30 cal

I'm sure Messor, if he's still lurking around, would absolutely love that they got the order right so he could call the 30-06 a bastardised 270.

It would take OCD far exceeding mine to really appreciate (or justify the existence of) these...um...beauties.

I have not read the article and do not know what it is about, but from the pics it looks like the cases on the 9mm automatic is not slanted as in the luger.

Therefore the problem with the bulgebuster on the 9mm will be sorted and you would be able to bust the bulge on the automatic cases caused by the Glocks? The question is, will it feed with straight sides?
