Default Man shoots and kills attackers in Jo'Burg

http://www.beeld.com/nuus/2014-04-30...middestad-dood

Can only find an Afrikaans version, and can't figure out how to cut and paste on this thing yet, but...

Wednesday morning at 06h00 three armed attackers accosted a citizen on the corner of Breë and Von Brandis streets in the JHB CBD...

They miscalculated, as their victim was carrying a licensed firearm. He shot all three, killing two and wounding the third "critically"... the third attacker was subsequently assaulted by other gatvol citizens and also passed.

Gauteng police spokesperson Captain Donia Mothutsane said a case of armed robbery is being investigated and a judicial inquiry will be held (wrt the deaths, I presume).

And then the best for last (my translation): 'Mothutsane said the victim who shot the two (sic) attackers will not be prosecuted.'

Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor

1 thief shot dead;
1 thief almost shot dead (2-6 FTN);
1 thief not shot, but beaten to death by mob.

I'm never one to cheer the death of another, but I'm thrilled that good triumphed and that the licensed defender has survived.
