Hunting @ Tamboti Eco Tourism
Hello fellow Bow Hunters
I have booked to hunt at a farm called Tamboti EcoTourism in Limpopo. I wanted to find out if anyone has hunted here before and what experience you may have had?

Re: Hunting @ Tamboti Eco Tourism
Hi,
Facilities are great - when I was there 10 / 10.
Are you dealing with Neville? I heard a few rumours after I had been there that they are charging upfront for game - are you?
I do not want to break your excitement but I was there about 18 months ago, short trip in and out 1 night stay over.
Spent 1 day in a hide and saw - yes..... wait for it. Nothing.
I will add, it was a few days after a rainstorm (yes it was in summer - who says you cannot hunt in summer - and yes we were only after males). But we saw buggerall, even when being driven to the hide and on the farm - not a lot of activity. We shared the camp with a crossbow hunter who also did not get anything, except seeing a few snakes. The trip was perhaps too short to be 100% be sure that we would have gotten something. This was just my experience.
I do hope it has changed for your sake. Perhaps ask for trailcam picks set up at the hides.
I would like to hear back if your trip was more successful than mine.
