awesome! is there a specific reflex scope it is meant to be paired with? what kind of eye relief does it have?

Looks like the eye relief is in the region of 50mm to 75mm. Pretty similar to any low magnification rifle scope. It looks like it will work best with most tube type reflex scopes that are mounted with the centre of it's lens at the same height as the Magnifier. I will try to test it with a tubeless heads up type scope as soon as possible and let you know how well that works.

Hmmm, I just bought an Aimpoint 3x for almost R10k. They must be really overpriced or this is really a good deal. I know there's difference is qualities as in all optics, but at 12.5 the price? I think I'll be getting one of these to run on my other rifle that has a Nikko RDS on it. Even if its airsoft, a 5.56 doesn't recoil much? Good price.

Well then it's a no-brainer really. Can pair it up with a RDS for R1000 so you're looking at under R2k for a working system. This is very attractive to the average plinking shooter..

I'm interested in this. I have an aimpoint h1 mounted on a Daniel defence mount. Do you have a qd mount for this which would be compatible?

Hi Billy the Kid.

I do not know how high that mount of yours is so I am not sure what will be compatible. Also, the mount that comes with this magnifier is very easy to remove so you should not need a quick release mount. If there is a height difference with your H1 then we could get a standard riser or QR riser that may help.
