Yes I do - on a DD with ALG ACT trigger.

Works as advertised - very neat. Easy installation.

Is it really needed ? some say it is some say dont bother.

If you have an expensive AR and need the "insurance"/peace of mind it is worth it imo.

    +1

apparently one side says it helps, one says it doesnt make a difference.
however, if you have the opportunity/cash, why not? it looks pretty nice and apparently it keeps the pin-holes from going out of spec, wearing out like an oval.
if i had the chance/money and my other priorities/items/changes were already sorted out.... I'd get a set.

Geissele suggests not using them with their pins and as far as I know, the ALG uses Geissele pins. Geissele pins are a little oversized. But agree, they do provide peace of mind if you are running others triggers.

Not needed unless something is out of spec, nobody in SA is going to egg out the pin holes any time soon and those that might do so in their imagination will have 3 or 4 AR's anyway,if only because they are OCD. Yes the J'pin can fail, having experienced this myself but my feeling is that it fails on assembly not whilst shooting the rifle and you should be able to pick it up. If installing after market triggers the Wilson TTU has an excellent pin retension system streaks aheah of the CMC but then it should be at the price. The Geiselle also appears to have an improved system, with the G2S having a very simple

If installing after market triggers the Wilson TTU has an excellent pin retension system streaks aheah of the most others but then it should be at the price. The Geiselle also appears to have an improved and by all accounts reliable system, with the G2S whilst being a cheaper version of the SSA having a very simple but possibly more traditional system of using the hammer spring to capture the pin.
