Thread: Proctor Sling

    Default Proctor Sling

On the back of the WOTG courses with Frank Proctor, I had in fact ordered two of his WOTG slings about 3 weeks prior to his course in CAPE TOWN.

Of course the damn things did not arrive in time for the course.

I picked them up today and I am so glad I ordered them.

When Frank was running them on the course I paid special attention to how simple, light weight ( key factor for me) and easy to adjust whilst the rifle is attached and slung.

Well whilst running some dry drills now with the rifle and sling......man o man!

Ok so it's not a QD sling, when it's on the rifle it's on the rifle and may take a few seconds, 30 to be precise, to remove it.

It has not metal parts scratching up your rifle and did I mention the minimal weight! It's like it's not even there!

    Wow!

Right now my FAVOURITE piece of kit!

And you don't have to spend money on sling attachments for all your rifles

I still need to order some. Did you do it through franks website?

    Paul,

Yup, no sling mounts weight weight weight!

I ordered from his site and sent to a mate of mine who sent it down here!

I am sure they will send it here in an envelope for you!

Looks like it will be very iffy if you tie it over the stock just behind the trigger guard on a Winchester....i might be wrong, worth trying though.
