You can also get an extra height front sight that is designed to index with the standard height rear.

Putting a HK height rear on a std AR platform to index with a STD front sight height is not going to be optimal because imo it is going to sit lower than what is comfortable and std to get into position behind the rear sight. I am also not sure the HK height rear is going to necessarily index with the std height front sight installed on the gas block.

Ah I forgot about the high front sights(designed specifically to do this). That would be a better solution. Thanks.

Pretty much sums it up, they are as a matter of course chambered for .223 Rem and not 5.56

Zimbi had a bunch of them a while back, chambered in both 5.56 (R15) and 7.62x51 (R25). Very beautiful and solid rifles, and reportedly highly accurate, thanks to a recessed cut crown, free-floated fluted barrel and a light, single-stage trigger. It's a hunting rifle, not an IPSC gun.

The R25 is chambered in 308 Win and not 7,62x51 to be more precise. It has an Chrome Moly barrel and uncoated bore.

The R15 has a 223 Remington chamber and not a 5,56x45 chamber. That is an important difference for both the Hunter on the one side and 3Gun/Tactical shooter on the other.

Right you are, I was referring to the R15 and not R25. Corrected, thanks Khumba.

I have the R15 and this is a sweet shooting semi auto, with my reloads i have a very accurate 223.
