    Attitude excluded, if the opening post states contact xyz @ zyx then it would be most useful to actually follow the OP recommendations.

    DSG do retail & distributor sales, so advertising certain items with prices could be a breach of some trade agreements... or maybe they are just trying to be gentlemanly and not cause a price war on the forum.
    What ever the reason, it is their choice, and the price can easily be obtained if the basic OP instructions were followed.

    Nobody advertises trade prices to the public, so the argument doesn't make much sense to me. If guys simply added their retail price potential buyers would immediately know whether an item was in their price bracket. And when we discuss weapons price is a factor, so why not just make it clear

    It may be lazy, but I don't see the point in adding another step in the process. If there was a price I'd know if there was any point in phoning them.

    Many firms don't list prices in attempt to perfectly price discriminate

    Fair business practice in my opinion, although perhaps not always pretty
